Summaro is a powerful wizard and character in the original Dynamite Red Sonja run.
Biography[]
Suumaro was a follower of The Borat-Na Fori who was granted powers and abilities after his village was destroyed by a group of soldiers. Although he originally used his powers for evil, Suumaro soon became a wizard and ally of Sonja's who is able to conjure less potent magic to help in her journey.
Powers and abilities[]
Suumaro has an adept degree in magic. He gives Sonja a special kind of guidance in her travels and can interpret supernatural dangers.
Trivia[]
- Suumaro's origin is almost identical to Red Sonja's, however, he was not raped and he obtained his powers from The Borat-Na Fori rather than Scathach.
- Suumaro was originally a Marvel character, but after Dynamite obtained the rights to Red Sonja, many other characters were included, including Suumaro, Scathach and Kulan Gath.
