Lord Kalidor is a character in the 1985 film Red Sonja.
Biography[]
A warrior who was sworn to protect the Order of the Talisman. After the Talisman is stolen by Queen Gedren, he teams up with Red Sonja in order to find and destroy it before it destroys the world.

Kalidor is essentially a thinly-veiled Captain Ersatz of Conan for copyright reasons. A long-standing but unconfirmed rumor is that he was originally going to be Conan himself, but because the film rights to Conan were still held by Universal Pictures, the production could not legally utilize the character.
